Tyler Seguin and the Bruins are in the Stanley Cup finals

The Bruins beat the Tampa Lightning 1-0 and now they are going to play the Vancouver Canucks in the Stanley Cup finals.

I think this is cool because I knew Tyler Seguin who is on the Bruins when he was on the Plymouth Whalers and met him a lot of times. He is nice. When he would see me at games or around town, he would say "Hey buddy!".

I have a lot of autographed cards from him, signed shirts, signed programs and a big Fathead poster/sticker that is on the wall in my room. He is my favorite player of all time.

When we were at the Tigers game at Comerica Park a few weeks ago, it was raining so we watched the Bruins game on tv and Tyler scored 2 goals and got 2 assists in one game. We were cheering.

My Uncle Mike wanted Tampa to win but the Bruins beat them and that is just how it goes.

I want Boston to win the Championship and for Tyler to raise the Stanley Cup and then bring it back to show the Whaler fans at Compuware Arena. The Stanley Cup once came to Compuware Arena but I missed that day but I did see it at my Grandma's house because it came there because they know people at the Red Wings. I got my picture taken with it and in another post, maybe we will put it up if we can find it.

  1. Louie,

I'm so glad you had a good 4th of July weekend. I was wondering how the race went. I love the picture of you crossing the finish line! What a accomplishment that was. I see you crossed with some adults! Good job keeping up.

Do you remember our cousin Leann? She completed her first half ironman competition this weekend in Korea. It is 70.3 miles of swimming, biking, and running. She trained for quite some time and placed 3rd in her age group! The thing I liked the best was she carried an American flag in her pocket. When she got hot from the sun she tied the flag around her shoulders to protect her from the sun. When she crossed the finish line she held the flag high above her head. What a nice tribute to her country on the 4th of July weekend! You can read about it on her blog spot.
