I went to see the Red Wings play the Columbus Blue Jackets yesterday. I went with my mom and dad. Alex could not go because he was sick.
Our seats were in row 9 near one of the nets. Most of the goals were in our net. It was cool. I also got a game program and an Original Six hockey puck at the game.
The Red Wings won 4-2.
I think my favorite player is Pavel Datsyuk because he is good and fast but he did not score but I think he got an assist.
We also saw Jared Boll of the Blue Jackets who used to play on the Whalers and my dad showed me who he was. I got Jared to autograph a puck at the Whalers alumni game this summer and I am going again this year and am going to have him sign the game program.

Glad you had a good time at the game. In Chicago, the Red Wings aren't too popular, because we love the Blackhawks. In May, when I am going to Detroit, I hope to see a Wings game and I promise, I will cheer for them.
